See Ali Run

May 12th, 1984 was quite a day. Alison Miner came into the world in a quick 2-hour process and she hasn't slowed down since! This week was a perfect example...

Ali is a recreational therapist here in Boston and her residents and co-workers LOVE her. My parents and I went to Hebrew Rehab a few weeks ago to meet all the residents we have heard so much about this past year. I loved it there! Everyone was so sweet, and they all just kept telling us how much they love Ali.
It was Hospital Week at Hebrew Rehab, and people nominated each other for a few different awards. Ali was given the "Above and Beyond" award because of the amazing way she dedicates herself to her job, and truly loves what she does. She was so surprised, but I think she was the only one who was :)

We took off to New Hampshire on Friday for the Big Lake Half-Marathon. Ali has been training during her already ridiculously busy days for a while now, and she was excited to ignore her frustrating knee and run!

Here's the winner, pretty fast!

And here comes Ali and Kristina, totally under their goal! I was so proud of them!

Team Sweet Feet -- lots of ward members ran the race together! Way fun tradition.

Basically I was really excited to tell you about a few of the amazing things Ali is doing with her life right now because it would be hard for you to get any of it out of her :) I'm having so much fun living with my sister, I just love her. I'm so proud of her and I love watching her totally take on life.

Happy Birthday Ali! I love you!
